A man in this position doesn't care that life is short, for God gave him peace of heart to take delight in his place. We may enjoy the pleasures of life and realize that, both in good as well as in hard times, God gives us the strength, the knowledge and the peace of heart to trust that He provides us with all we need. We do not decide over our future in this life. Know that what He decides is irreversible. Nothing can be added or altered. God wants us to stand in awe of His might. And we may, because He deserves it.
