Jesus invites you now.

Perhaps you'll say: 'This invitation is not addressed to me. I am too bad and have done way too many things wrong. I have already thrown away my life.' But it is still the truth. Jesus invites all of us to come close to Him and find new life in Him. He judges according to other standards than the ones we use in our human interaction. Jesus loves everyone, truly without exceptions. He doesn't want a single person to stand still at his or her sin, failed in life and eventually lost forever. And no one can do without his offer: 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.'

Only with Jesus you'll find true peace. He went His way, from the stable where he was born in poverty, all the way till beyond death on the cross. He has taken all the sin of the world upon Him, through His death and His resurrection. Although you can never imagine the unbearable suffering that must have been, you can experience the liberation when you accept that it was Him who took the blame and the punishment, for you. When you trust Him, entrust yourself to Him and believe in Him, you will be looked upon by God as a person without fault or sin.

Jesus is alive. Death could not hold Him down, for He redeemed us of our sins. And Jesus already was without sin. That is why He resurrected from the dead. That is how he wants to give you a new life as well. A wonderful life that can already start here and now, and will last forever.

Jesus invites you. Please don't put this aside, but accept it in time. This invitation is His offer to you and everyone. He gives you a free will to either decide against or with it. He doesn't want us to be puppets, but a followers of our own free will. He gives you a chance to start all over again with Him at your side. Only Jesus can give your life true meaning and purpose.

Ernest Hemingway once said despairingly: 'All my roads lead to Nowhere.' And Bertolt Brecht said: 'Now that I have used up all illusions, I stand empty-handed.' Don't let your life stand still at the pronouncements of these godless poets but accept Jesus' invitation and entrust Him with your life. Because He is the Only way, only He can give you absolute truth and only He can give you a real, new life. A life that can already start here and now, and after this life it will continue in the great presence of God and in His eternal glory. There is no better or more important invitation than what Jesus has to offer.
