Reading the BibleYou don't need the read the Bible like you read other books, starting with the first page and ending with the last. Since the Bible is a collection of books, you can start anywhere. If you do want to read orderly without reading it in one go, you can start with the first part of the Bible from the first page where the story of creation and man's fall from grace are described. Then read all of John's Gospel. After that you could read the Apostle's Acts, and afterwards Paul's and other letters in the New Testament. Meanwhile you can read parts from the Book of Psalms.

At a certain moment you will want to read everything, but the first three chapters of Genesis and John's Gospel are important anyway. After that it will be a good daily habit to read parts from the Bible. You might be helped with a Biblical diary, since that proposes a certain part of the Bible per day while also recommending practical action. A reading plan by which you go through the entire Bible by reading a part every day is another mean.
